5. What is Deemed University and how is it different from regular University?
Deemed University
is also like regular University approved by University
Grants Commission (UGC) and Government of India. Deemed
University is an unitary(single) University. You can join
MS or M.Tech programmes at main campus or at Off-Campuses.
Dr.MGR Educational and Research Institute (Deemed University)
is approved by UGC and Government of India.
6. I have a degree in B.Sc from UGC approved University and I have very good work experience. Can I apply for M.Tech or M.S(By Research) courses?
Sorry, As per UGC
regulations you need to have a degree in M.Sc/BE/B.Tech/AMIE
or equivalent to apply for M.Tech/M.S(By Research) courses.
But you may consider pursuing relevant M.Sc course.
